Set up your Screaming Frog log file analyzer
A 1-minute walkthrough of installing and activating Screaming Frog Log File Analyser through the KLOOW app. Pick your system below — Windows or macOS.
How to activate
- 1Open the KLOOW app and click Screaming Frog in the left sidebar.
- 2On the Log File Analyser card, click Install v7.0 (Default Path) and wait for the installation to finish. If you prefer to download the installer manually, use the “Download from screamingfrog.co.uk” link on the same card — but keep the default installation path.
- 3Once the badge changes to Installed, click Activate License. KLOOW applies the license automatically — you don’t need to type anything.
- 4That’s it — launch the Log File Analyser and import your first log file.
Common issues
- Activation fails — the analyser is probably installed in a custom folder. Reinstall it from KLOOW using the default path and try again.
- The card still says “Not installed” after installing — click the refresh button (circular arrow) at the top right of the KLOOW dashboard.
